Governor Ugwuanyi Meets With President Buhari Over Fulani Heerdsmen Attack In Enugu

Governor Ugwuanyi could not hold back tears when he visited the community where he also declared a two-day fasting as a way of putting the matter in God’s hands.
On Wednesday 27 of April, Governor  Ugwuanyi met the president over the attack of the Fulani herdsmen in Enugu which lead to the killing of many in Enugu state with sophisticated weapons.

President Buhari said: “I have directed the Chief of Defence Staff and the Inspector-General of Police to secure all communities under attacks by herdsmen, and to go after all the groups terrorizing innocent people all over the country. This government will not allow these attacks to continue.

However, Ugwuanyi expressed satisfaction in President Buhari's statement that the culprits who were involved will soon be fished out by the security agents.

In a video interview with the NTA via twitter, governor Ugwuanyi said
At no point did I call Mr. President on phone but "I'm very happy Mr President has directed the CDS & IGP to fish out the culprits.
He said this to further clarify the public on the on-going rumor that Mr. President refused  picking his calls.
